1chat is owned and operated by Berry Street Research Group LLC, a New York limited liability company based in Albany, New York (“Berry Street,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

What we collect

1chat stores the account details you provide, your subscription plan and status, conversation history, model selections, usage totals, and service diagnostics required to operate the product.

Model and tool processing

Your prompts and model responses are sent to our model infrastructure provider, Kanonas, which routes requests to the model provider you select. On Max, prompts and necessary context may also be processed inside an isolated agent container and sent to connected MCP tools to complete your request. Those third-party tools receive only the information required by the agent call. Prompts, outputs, tool results, usage records, and operational metadata may be retained to operate, secure, debug, evaluate, and improve the services. 1chat does not offer a zero-data-retention mode.

Payments

Stripe processes subscriptions and payment details. 1chat stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, but not full card details.

Security and sharing

Model, tool, and payment credentials stay on the server. We do not sell personal information. We disclose data only to service providers needed to operate 1chat, when legally required, or during a business transaction.

Your choices

You can delete your account and saved conversations from Settings. You may also contact us to request access or correction.
